I purchased the iHeater 1500w infrared heater to help warm up the front half of my "L" shaped ranch. We have a large wood stove in the rear of the home but the heat never makes it around to the front where the bedrooms and bath are. The space in the front is approximately 900 sq ft. I placed the iHeater in the front, turned it to 60 degrees (it's lowest setting) and let it run for a week. I used a KILL A WATT power meter to monitor how much it was going to cost me to run.The iheater keeps the space exactly 60 degrees based on my wall mounted thermostat, and was costing just under $2 dollars a day (based on very high New England electric rates) to run.We are happy with the iHeater.
