Purchased at a reasonable price, with free delivery. Arrived in a couple of days. The delivery box was about 50 pounds, with no damages to the box or the unit. Easy set up! Just remove it from the box and plug it in.Looks great, provides a little bit of warmth. But with only two settings - low and medium - you can't expect a blasting furnace. The remote listed in the description was not in the box, nor did the manual state any thing about a remote. Called Amazon to inquire about the remote and they weren't sure where it was. Suggested I contact the manufacture. I haven't done that yet, but there is a button at the bottom that turns the unit on and off. Setting controls are on the top. Once you have it set - you can just use the bottom button to turn the unit on or off. Like I said, it doesn't generate that much heat, so you don't need to constantly make adjustments to the temp settings.Overall a good product. Having the remote woould have made it great!

The Frigidaire Boston fireplace produces sufficient heat for a smaller family room or a bedroom. I was pleased with the over all quality of the unit and ease of use. The actual look of the unit in use provides a realistic imitation of a real fire. The two heating settings offers additional control of the temperature within the room you are heating. Over all very pleased with this purchase.
